The Zanzibar Archipelago in Tanzania is one of the most famous archipelagos in the world. Made up of the two main islands of Pemba and Unguja – the latter better known as Zanzibar – it evokes feelings of mystery, adventure, trade, and pristine nature.

Freediving in Zanzibar can be a very rewarding experience. This is especially true if you are into marine life and recreational freediving. Zanzibar’s waters teem with dolphins and other marine life including large pelagic fish, small coral fish, turtles, and – between July and November – migrating Humpback Whales.

FREEDIVING TRAINING SESSION

Enjoy freediving courses taught out of the only freediving centre in East Africa, located in Nungwi, the north point of (Unguja) Zanzibar Island. We also offer freedive training for experienced freedivers.

LangiLangi Beach Bungalows is situated on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. A resort at Nungwi village on North Coast , the most central accommodation and tourist destination. The resort is situated on North end of Zanzibar, approximately 60km north luxurious natural surroundings offer white sands and tranquility only minutes away from the resort.

LangiLangi Beach Bungalows offers 34 rooms out of which 5 are Royal Zanzibari suites, 2 are Marhaba suites, 5 are Seaview suites, 7 are Pool view rooms and 15 Garden view rooms. All our suites enjoy the magnificient view of Indian Ocean and white sand beaches.

LangiLangi offers exquisite bungalows designed and furnished in a Zanzibari tradition with all the modern amenities. Comfort and attention to detail, with a choice of king or twin size beds, AC, ceiling fans, hot and cold water, telephone, safe deposit box, fridge, hair dryer on request, internet service and fax are all here in paradise.

The resort has a restaurant & café (which offers cooking classes) a pool and kayaks.

On request we do arrange specific Freediving with Dolphin Trips, where freediving with local Bottle Nose and the Humpback Dolphins on any given day is practically guaranteed.
