ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Located in the Kunene region, Etosha National Park covers an area of over 22,000 square kilometres and gets its name from the salt pan so large it can be seen from space. It is home to hundreds of species of mammals and birds, including the several endangered animals such as the Black Rhinoceros. One can spot easily Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Hyenas and even Leopards.
WATERBERG PLATEAU
​The plateau and the national park are named after the prominent table mountain that rises from the plateau, the Waterberg (Water Mountain in Afrikaans), that rises up to 200 metres. This ecological diverse National Park has over 200 species of birds and rare game such as Black and White Rhino, Buffalo and Sable. The best way to explore it is by foot on a series of trails that lead up to the summit.
