By having the Etosha National Park, Namibia boasts both some of the top rated and famous safari havens in Africa, and with Damaraland, some of the most underrated as well. Although wildlife in Namibia is not as prevalent as in some of the more famous wildlife areas of East Africa, the country does boast some unique desert adapted species – such as the Desert Elephant and Desert Lion – that can be found nowhere else in the world.
